Map and Location
Directions to Wild Edge Retreat from Sydney:
Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and follow the Pacific Highway towards Hornsby. At Wahroonga take the M1 Motorway towards Newcastle.
You will travel on the moorway for approximately 25 minutes, past the Hawkesbury River Bridge and take the Peat’s Ridge/Calga Exit, being the first exit past Mount White (and only 3 kilometres past the heavy vehicle weigh station). Just after Peat’s Ridge, take the left turn to Wollombi Route 33). Follow this road for approximately 50 minutes, or if you set the trip meter on the vehicle, it is 69 kilometres from the Peat’s Ridge exit from the M1.
After reaching the 50km zone sign at Wollombi, the first building you will see on your left is the Wollombi Tavern. Turn right at the Tavern (Police Station sign is on your left as you turn the corner) and travel 1.1km. Turn right again at Narone Creek Road. This road is unsealed after the first 200 metres. Travel for 2.3kms until you turn left at Craft Road and travel 2.9kms, following the Wild Edge signs to the top of the ridgeline.
Please note: due driving caution is recommended as the last 5.2kms from the turnoff at Wollombi Road is on unsealed roads. The unsealed roads are not suitable for lowered vehicles.
Directions from Newcastle, North and driving from the Central Coast:

Travel for 2.3kms until you turn left at Craft Road and travel 2.9 kms, following the Wild Edge signs to the top of the ridgeline.
