Wollombi Wine Trail:
When visiting the beautiful Wollombi area, you don't have to travel far to experience some great local wines. The Wollombi Wine Trail will take you to six of our local boutique wineries where you can sample the flavours of local handmade wines in a relaxed and friendly environment, where you will often get to meet the winemaker and owner of the vineyard who will give you a fascinating insight into the specifics of the characteristics and production of their wines.

The Main Wine Area Around Pokolbin:
Drive about 40 minutes from Wild Edge and you will arrive in the main wine producing region of Pokolbin. Here you will find the renowned names of Tempus Two, Hungerford Hill, Tyrrell's, McWilliams and many more along with some of the Hunter's most well known dining establishments; Molines, Robert's Restaurant and Margan.
Stonehurst Cedar Creek
Visit their beautiful sandstone cellar and sample some of Stonehurst's award winning wines. Produced entirely from hand picked grapes, grown on high trellis to capture the sun and air-flow, the wines exhibit rich fruit flavour and long depth of palate.

Wollombi Wines
Their grapes are hand-picked with no insecticides used. They also rarely use watering, so the yields are fairly low at around 2 tonnes per acre.
A great secluded little winery with space to relax and enjoy your picnic hamper!

Undercliff Winery
Undercliff is known for their Vinage wines, Sparkling Shiraz and beautiful bird labels. Picnickers are welcome to enjoy the peacful setting around the cellar door.

Noyce Brothers Wines
Their wines are cultivated on land first settles in 1823 and through the unique conbination of soil and climate they produce some distinctive 'Hunter Style' wimnes.

Millbrook Estate Winery
Millbrook Estate create hand crafted table wines made from traditional Hunter grape varieties and style. They also produce speciality wines such as fortified liquers, liqueur brandy, chilli wine and lemonchella.

Wollombi Village Vineyard
Located in the Village (near the tennis courts) Wollombi Village Vineyard produce Chardonnay, Shiraz and Rose as well as some speciality fortifieds and liqueurs.
OPEN: Saturday 9:00am - 6:00pm, Sunday and Public Holidays from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
